Bock Lighting is a commercial & residential lighting fixture manufacturer located in Twinsburg, Ohio. Our Lighting and Electrical roots date back to 1918 here in the Greater Cleveland area! We manufacture Decorative, RLM and Custom Lighting fixtures for a wide range of industries and applications including Commercial, Hospitality, Retail, Restaurant Chains and Residential projects.

We are searching for a candidate to fill the Technical Sales & Marketing Business Coordinator full time opening that will assist with product development, marketing, engineering efforts and sales support. We are looking for someone who is an outgoing, detail-oriented person -- who has the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. The role would be responsible for keeping all assigned projects on track and possessing the ability to foresee the entire scope of the project at all times.

The coordinator will play a key role in working with our engineering, marketing and sales team, internally and externally. Focus on customer support, service and the ability to learn technical aspects of the Bock Lighting product line is integral to this position. This person should have excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Lead execution of all website initiatives – including regular updates and overall content management.
• Manage email database and development segmentation strategy for business
• Create, execute and evaluate all outbound email campaigns.
• Lead efforts in managing SEO
• Assist with developing product marketing collateral.
• Oversee freelance designers work.
• Seek and analyze competitor marketing and sales materials both on and offline.
• Provide support to social media efforts.
• Develop Press Releases for traditional platforms as well as Social Media, Industry Blogs and Related Sites.
• Manage content strategy and editorial calendar.
• Manage brand image and narrative across all content for numerous media
• Produce actionable insights and regular reports using Google Analytics, Bing Webmaster Tools and other SEO and social media analytics tools
• Continuously test, re-optimize and repurpose existing content.
• Copyedit, Write and Optimize Web content for search (including metadata, headlines, articles, blogs and more)
• Help with quoting/pricing our various decorative lighting fixture product offerings to our clients and reps.
• Great research skills needed. Can use technology to find leads and generate business.
• Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest.
• Maintain and expand your database of prospects.
• Routing qualified opportunities to the National Sales Manager for further development and closure.
• Perform effective online sales and marketing demos/presentations to prospects.
• 10% Travel in regards to attending trade shows across North America, to sell/market Bock Lighting’s top notch products!

Job Qualifications

• 2-3+ years of experience in Marketing and/or Sales. Previously working in a manufacturing environment and having manufacturing experience is preferred.
• Must have a Bachelor’s degree. Preferably in Business, Engineering, Marketing, PR or Communications.
• Possess excellent customer service skills.
• Must be knowledgeable in regards to basic lighting information and willing to learn even more!
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Good organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast paced environment.
• Strong listening skills needed. We are a solutions based lighting company.
• Ability to travel 10% for trade shows or potential in person meetings on a case by case basis. Overnight travel may be needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $35.00 per hour
